Secure UK facility for cars between movements

Climate-controlled to 15–18°C, fully insured per vehicle, and used by the same owners we ship to Monaco, Saint-Tropez and Marbella. Cars are held between seasons on a stable climate, on charge, and ready to move on short notice.

Storage runs alongside our core shipping services, with the same enclosed transporters handling both ends of the move.

Vehicle care in storage

Storage arrangements designed to maintain your vehicle’s condition.

Climate control

Bays are held at 15–18°C with relative humidity around 55%. That band keeps condensation off cold metal, leather supple and the high-end batteries that flatten in an unheated barn ready to crank on collection. Air moves; the floors stay dry.

Active vehicle care

CTEK or Optimate trickle charging on every battery from the day the car is parked. Tyres rotated to prevent flat-spotting, fluids checked, and the cabin aired on the agreed cadence (monthly as standard, weekly by request). Every check is logged against the vehicle file.

Secure and discreet

Monitored CCTV with off-site recording, intruder alarms tied to a Grade 3 response, and a site that is not signposted or open to the public. Cars are not photographed for marketing. Visiting clients are met and escorted; the clientele is not discussed.

The cars we hold, and the reasons we hold them

Storage is rarely a goal in itself; it is almost always a bridge between two states. A car has just arrived in the UK and is waiting to go somewhere. A car is being released to sale one at a time. A collection is being assembled or rationalised. The clientele below describes the bulk of the vehicles we hold at any given time.

Between shipments

An auction purchase awaiting the next enclosed transporter slot, or a vehicle shipped back from abroad while the owner finalises a new residence. Storage bridges the gap so the car is not left on a driveway or sitting in a third-party compound between movements.

Snowbird collectors

UK summer storage while the collection winters in Florida or California; UK winter storage while supercars sit in Monaco for the warm months. The cars are moved once, kept properly at each end, and ready for use the day their owner lands.

Estate consolidation

Multi-car collections being assembled before a private garage is ready, or being rationalised with cars released to sale one by one. We hold the full set securely and release individual vehicles on instruction.

Pre-sale preparation

Vehicles awaiting concours entry, auction consignment or studio photography. The car stays in show condition, and we coordinate the detailer, photographer or transporter when the date is set.

Long-term resident-abroad

A UK-registered vehicle held while the owner lives outside the UK for a posting, relocation or second residence. V5C stays with the file, the car is maintained, and it is returned to the road on short notice when the owner is back.

Across all of these, the common thread is that the vehicle is worth holding properly. A six-figure car held badly for six months is a six-figure car with a flat battery, four flat-spotted tyres, a mouldy cabin and a corroded brake disc set. The cost of getting storage right is small against the cost of getting it wrong.

Six steps, intake to retrieval

The flow most stored vehicles follow: collection on our own enclosed transport, a documented intake, a stable bay, an agreed care schedule, and a clean retrieval on the date you specify.

  1. 1

    Collection or hand-over

Door-to-door collection from anywhere in mainland UK on our own enclosed transporter, or hand-over at the facility if you prefer to bring the car in personally.

  2. 2

    Pre-storage inspection

Photographic record of every panel, the interior, the wheels and the engine bay. Fuel level, mileage and any pre-existing marks are logged against the vehicle file.

  3. 3

    Climate-controlled bay assignment

The vehicle is allocated a bay sized to it, on a soft floor or wheel-protective surface, with enough clearance to walk around without contact.

  4. 4

    Agreed care schedule

Battery conditioning, tyre rotation and fluid checks at the agreed cadence (monthly as standard, weekly on request), each one logged.

  5. 5

    Optional services

Detailing, paint protection film application and mechanical coordination with specialist marque centres (Ferrari, Aston Martin, Porsche, Lamborghini, Bentley, Rolls-Royce) arranged on instruction.

  6. 6

    Retrieval

Forty-eight hours notice is the usual lead time for collection or onward delivery. Same-day hand-over at the facility is usually possible; same-day delivery is usually possible within a few hours of the site.

For the cars most often in our facility (supercars, classics, GT and grand touring) we coordinate optional services with specialist marque centres on instruction. A pre-collection service at the Ferrari specialist, a paint protection film refresh before a concours, or a full detail before sale photography: we manage the trade, you sign off the work.

Storage that bridges your shipments

Most of the cars we store are also cars we ship. A UK-based vehicle held here while a Monaco residence is being prepared and the garage there is not yet ready to receive it. A newly purchased car held in the facility while we wait for the next available enclosed transporter slot on the route the client wants. A vehicle returning from the United States after a concours, held while paperwork is completed and the next leg — back to the UK owner, or onward shipment to a buyer — is arranged.

Storage and shipping quoted together is almost always cleaner than the two arranged separately, because the same team owns both ends of the move. The car is collected once, inspected once, insured continuously, and released on a single instruction. There is no hand-off to a third party in the middle, which is where expensive cars most often pick up an unexplained mark.

Tell us about the vehicle, the collection address and the intended length of stay. A specialist will price the stay and confirm the next available bay, normally the same day.
